Care at distance through videoconferencing

UHN Telehealth uses videoconferencing and other innovative technologies to deliver health care services to patients and families as well as education for health professionals.

Our program office is located in the Centre for Global eHealth Innovation at the Toronto General Hospital. We have studios and provide services at all three UHN hospitals.

Our core services includes live videoconferencing over secure networks for

Case conferencing

As a patient- centered approach to health care, the Telehealth team has mobile workstations and desktop units in clinics and offices; uses videoconferencing and store & forward technology for clinical care; and synchronous web streaming for educational events.
