Post-Transplant Spousal and Family Support Group

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator in Psychiatry collaborates with the Clinical Nurse Specialist in Medical Surgical ICU (MSICU) to offer support and encouragement for the spouses and families of newly transplanted patients. These sessions occur while patients recover in the MSICU allowing families to find answers to their questions and develop an understanding of what issues may arise during the initial post-operative recovery.
